Viktor & Rolf for H&M

I think I might be able to score a piece if I want to. The Lagerfeld collection went quickly here, but I think it was because of the hype that came because the combination high fashion designer + chain shop was something new back then. The McCartney collection was available for a long time and it would have been easy to buy any of the pieces.

Ok, stupid question, sorry, but I keep seeing people referencing to shopping online, but...how? H&M doesn't have an online shopping feature.

h&m does have an online shopping feature.. in selected countries.. like Sweden and Denmark.. :flower:

^ and in Finland an Norway ;) so the online shopping option is only for Scandinavia

Which do you think will have the best selection? I live closest to the Bloor location, but am still walking distance to Eaton Centre and would consider driving to Yorkdale that day to shop as well.... Do you know which location had the best selection with the Stella collection? I only went to Bloor street that day...
Thanks :flower:

there is never the issue of selection when it comes to the designer collaborations. each store gets the same stuff. every single piece, as far as i know.

*btw, regarding accessories...from what i can remember there is a brown(?) silk scarf with a pink ribbon print on it, and shoes (which are pretty bad, imo)

and there'll be underwear:ninja:

i don't know if someone has posted it already, those are some of the designs... they are doing a bride!! ;)

Nope. In my town the Stella collection was avaliable in two H&M's, and one of them only got half the collection.. very annoying!

What about Iceland?

Finland belongs to Scandinavia, but although ICeland is in Scandinavia, I am not sure about that...I read somewhere about buying v&r for h&m online etc and Iceland wasn't mentioned

No, it's not 100% officially Scandinavia. The same goes for Iceland.
Finland is a part of Fenno-Scandia, if I remember correctly.

Is that bridal dress part of the collection?

^ Yes, it goes out for 299 euros.

And since when does Finland not belong to Scandinavia? :p I guess my old geography teacher needs an update...

PS: I just saw you can shop this collection online in the Netherlands as well. But only on November 13th.

That's what I learned in geography. Plus I live in Finland.

Well, a bridal dress from H&M is new, but who would actually buy their wedding dress from H&M?

^someone who is strapped for cash..
at any rate I think that it would be pretty interesting if all the H&Ms stores that receive the wedding dress got the address of the wedding dress buyers.. they could make an article on the 'adventures' of the dress.. in their on-line magazine.. then WhiteLinen and I could get our curiosity satisfied..

i supose a wedding event its a very very important day for a women that want to envolve guests in a proper and official religious cerimony ,

it should be exclusive and exquisite - them i think that wear a wedding dress from H&M that has other 999 copies around is a little too much marketing ....

surely it will fly from the rails.... I don't want to be orthodox - but as a womenswear designers they should seen this event for women as a little be more important and special instead raise a shallow money making buzz around it , IMO.

It smells a little bit ethic-less for me playing around with brides.

i'm still curious about the online-shopping part.. because usually when you buy clothes from h&m online, the clothes come from sweden. so do they have different depot for every country (as in swe, nor, den and fin) or do you just have to be quick to get something so that someone doesn't get it..? do they have same depot for every online country?
does anyone understand what i mean?
