Viktor & Rolf S/S 10

I don't know what I was expecting from V&R but I definitely wasn't expecting this.
Overall, I'm liking it so far. The shapes are very... interesting :)

I have no idea who will wear that, but this is amazing! The shapes, the colours, the volumes... So entertaining to watch!

Wow i just noticed that too..A Big Globus and a Lamp...Yeah!!!Roisin-The Lamp...Haha.

I never get their design. At least it is interesting and never boring.

Roisin! :buzz: Now it will be hard to focus on the clothes!

This is basically unwearable, but it's so cool. I can't wait to see the whole thing. It looks very fresh and different and just crazy fun.

gimmicks masquerading as concepts....as always. i really wish they would stop these rubbish antics and show what they truly are....commercial.

Scott I would totally agree with you on several designers (such as Gareth Pugh) but there is something intrinsically magic about their gimmick that I can appreciate the drama with pleasure.. so far I think this show is great, looks fresh, well thought and beautifully executed -- and don't worry V&R commercial translations for the shop floor are always good, very wearable and still to manage keep the same aura of the collection presented on the catwalk..

This is amusing, but in no way is it clever, shocking, or remotely creatively. These two dropped the ball a long time ago, imo. Their theatrics are even more annoying than those of Galliano. Sad part is, they aren't completely talentless; there is talent there, but neither wants to accept the fact that they simply aren't maverick subverters.

I've always thought that these two would be better off working in the vein of Sonia Rykiel... fun and exciting but completely wearable and appealing to a woman who wants to do more than stand and look pretty... or silly, if we're being honest...
