J'adore your dresses, purple!

I really, really want vintage dresses...I just got one kind of recently but I don't have a digital camera. It's from the 70's and it has a black ribbed almost-turtleneck top and a grey wool skirt with this nifty black and white/cream border thingy down the front of the skirt and on the sleeves in a thin ribbon (pretty). The skirt is around my knee, but a bit below, I think. I can't wait to wear it.

Purple, when is that vintage show thing in Toronto? Never mind that I have NO clue how I could make the trip... Maybe my mom will take me if she doesn't have to work. :hopes:

I love vintage. I bet 70% of my wardrobe is vintage. I don't do very well with vintage dresses though. I have 7 or 8 but they're special. I've found that most vintage dresses have a definite shape to them to allow for hips and such. Unfortunately, I have a very straight figure. I have boobs but no hips, so most vintage dresses I've tried pooch out in the hip area since I have nothing to fill them out with.

I hope I can! I don't know if my poor car could take it, though, even if my parents did say yes. I'm going to drive a ghettofabulous '92 Saab that my brother has absolutely driven into the ground (not that I care since I actually have something to drive ), and I'm not so sure that it would survive the journey.

Maybe I'd better stick to convincing one of my parents to take me...on the premise of a college visit, perhaps! What colleges are in/near Toronto? Which are the best?

Hopefully the show will be AFTER AP tests...
