Is it wrong to love a collection because it looks like a typical collection of the designer?

Nowadays, where it seems that more and more houses and having a changing of the guard moment with its head designers dropping like flies .. isnt it superb to see a designer design under her own name for her own label and rock it?

It may not be the most memorable Westwood collection but (God forbids) one she's gone isnt THIS, what we are seeing right in front of our eyes what we will miss and covet?

Ill admit I wish I would've liked to see more dresses but I love this collection. Its restrained but very Vivienne. The play on the clowns gives it a bit of whimsy and mischief which I find quite adorable (and I want the Shakespeare tee ... will it be available on menswear? :P )

:crush:

i wouldn't say so ultra. viv always stays so true to her style and that's exactly why she remains so revered.

the collection is very strong!

love the collection! strong is great adjective for this show.

Once again, I'm in love with Red Label. I cannot help it, every season is just pure bliss for me.

I love the collection. I love watching her shows, and there are some great individual peices in there! Also, agree with everything you said, ultramarine (including the going out with your face covered in gold leaf bit :P)

i dont like the styling but there are some awesome clothes

I agree, the styling is all over the place, for me, however I can see how the clothes would work as separates, on the street. I like the strong colours, patterns and recklessness of some of the cuts. One of the few more recent red label that has impressed me. I was beginning to think her other half was totally doing the red label design.

Agree with you on the colours and cuts. I enjoyed this collection. Always something unusual, quirky and unexpected. Love Westwood!
