Vivienne Westwood S/S 10 Paris

I am honestly too skeptical of politics here - fashion is in the end a trivial pursuit compared to the larger question of wars, poverty, etc. Human rights are also subject to propaganda, who knows what are the political forces behind all of this feel-good political activism? Ever read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman"? That's reality for ya.

LOVE! I think she really enjoys what she does, this collection is fun, but in a good way. I would definitely like to wear some pieces. :woot: And that hair looks amazing! Sometimes she's too good for this world.

This is the first Westwood show I've liked in a very long time.

the collection is actually very political as it's based around her project manifesto.

you can read about it here:

it seems a very strong statement from viv.

i am speechless by this collection. it is so amazing. her strongest work in a long time. i am so touched. it's really beautiful with an amazing sociopolital message.

this season's theme is "get a life!"

it's simply not possible for me to dislike a westwood show.

Thanks Ale!

Love the pants looks in #34, the splattered tunic&black trousers and the purple pants.
Also the skirt Viv herself is wearing!

Excellent proportions as usual.
Just love Vivienne.
