I like the more neutral and simpler pieces, but the prints are not great, especially with the fireworks, graffiti, hearts, swirls, etc in garish colours...no, no, no.

For the ppl saying it's messy, have you guys never seen a Westwood show? Chaos has always been an ongoing theme in Viv's work... It would be kind of weird if that element of chaos was missing from the presentations/work.

I always love when Viv gets political...

Perhaps I am too cynical but this kind of political hash is too reminiscent of the 80's (once again).
Extremely serious topics are best not mixed into a self indulgent circus freak atmosphere. It fuels the fire that fashion really IS nonsense and not a vehicle for change (like it has been historically). I find it trite. At least the clothes should sustain such a pompous manifesto. Where is Katherine Hamnett now?...

It's just fashion and rather fluffy messy fashion at best. Those seditionary days are long gone I'm afraid.

This is the second collection I've seen this season that in some way incorporates a Bride of Frankenstein hair-do into the mix. I'm not thrilled with this... I normally love Vivienne, but this is just not great. Too much text, very, very odd fabric choices... if some of these didn't have weird prints on them (I think that's what some of this is) then it might be a decent collection. The sillouhettes are really pretty.

if i remember correctly, alot of her collections have had her political opinion behind them..

fashion is creativity and a form of self expression, so in that sense i think she is entitled to have her opinion voiced through the clothes..

Some of the pieces by themselves are not bad but all together it just looks like a total mess. I love Viv but sometimes she has me lost in confusion and not knowing what to think of.
