Vlada at an indonesia airport in 2010.

I will never forgot August 08th, 2010 at 4:45 PM ! Why is that ? Its because I (Amby) accidentaly saw and talked to 23 years old Elena Roslyakova or you may know her as Vlada Roslyakova, one of Art and Amby’s favourite models.

I was working at the Soekarno-Hatta International airport as usual when one of my friends said to me about a girl that’s so skinny. when I looked at her I kinda recognized her. So I walked slowly to her where she’s waiting for her male friend in front of the toilet and asked whether she’s Vlada Rosylakova and she said yes !
I was nervous and I’m sweating instantly but I still could gathered my guts and courage to talked to her and I asked what she’s doing here in Indonesia and she said that she’s having 20 days of holiday in Bali, Indonesia (will we see Vlada with tanned skin afterwards ??). Yaayy !!!
I couldn’t believe my eyes because in front of me, there was this girl that I could only see in magazine covers (Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, W) and ad campaigns (Sonia Rykiel, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes) and countless runways. And its only one in a zillion times that I could see her passed me accidentaly like this.
The funny thing was, because I was very nervous, sweat running through my face and just after I took couple of photos of her, just when I wanted to introduced Art8amby’s blog to her, she said to me with a smile on her face that I should wipe my sweat on my forehead ! Damn you sweaty forehead !!! I was very embarassed LOL.

She’s tall, blonde, with pale skin and she’s beautiful in person.
Because I needed to get back to work and she needed to catch her Garuda Indonesia flight to Bali, I ended the conversation and shook her hands and unfortunately forgot to asked her autograph (I know its lame but she’s one our favourite model ;P, I should’ve asked her autograph darn it!)
I updated Art8amby Twitter account, my Facebook page and sent BBM to Art and my friends with my hands shaking

Her name is Elena? For real? Why did she change it? That's so much better than "Vlada".

Yes, her real name is Elena Roslyakova. When she started her career there was another model called Elena Rosenkova and she changed her name in order to net be confused. Vlada is after her father whose name is Vladimir.

BTW i really enjoyed reading that article of the guy who met vlada in the airport, i just started imagine myself meeting her at the airport, and how
extremely exciting it'd be, anyway i don't think she'll get close to a chilean airport,
