Vlada Roslyakova

Vlada's stunning pose in that show and her scary expression were one highlight for me!!!

She is so damn versatile, there's no style she cannot do.

seriously, etro really did just recycle some backstage photos for the campaign? if so, did vlada get paid?

Clearly it's a cheap way of making a campaign but they must be happy with the concept since they repeated it for summer.

I'm sure Vlada did get paid. Unless there was some contractual thing in the contract for all the models who walked Etro that they might get their backstage pics used in an ad.

i would assume they have to pay whatever photo agency that took those photos because they are copyrighted. but photographers don't pay models to be photographed, which is why i don't see why any legal obligations exist on etro's part to pay vlada, which just makes the former utterly cheap. on the other hand, the campaign featured mostly vlada, and it would sound scandalous if she wasn't paid. oh well, who knows - i just want to see vlada get handsome pay without doing extra work

Paid or not paid, is that the only backstage photo of vlada that end up in the campaign album ?

Etro campaign is really cheap indeed, their idea of the backstage picture wasn't that bad the first time but now it looks like they don't want to do any effort. It's a shame because they choose good models in those pictures, so I'm sure a real campaign with a real concept and with the same models would be much more better !

Well there's also Snejana, Toni, Frida and several male models all photoshopped together. It's cheap but as I said it must have been successful for F/W 10-11 or they wouldn't have repeated the concept.

I really don't know about the payment situation. Yes, the photos are probably candids bought from a photo agency (as opposed to a photographer being hired especially to get backstage shots for the campaign.) But surely they must still pay the model for using their likeness in an ad campaign (which was not the original purpose of the photo being taken).

Here's another one:

The whole campaign is basically one or two photos of each model which have then been stitched together in varying combinations.
