Vlada Roslyakova

77 of those 91 shows were in the the three main cities. I really don't think anyone else off late has walked those many shows.

If they pay money for catwalk appearances, then Vlada must have made a lot of money already. If they pay in clothes, just imagine how freaking amazing her wardrobe must be! She'd have pretty much ALL the top labels, in clothes, shoes, bags, accessories! Either way, she's had a very successful career.

And anyway, didn't she say she wanted to pursue her education once her modelling career slowed down? She's only 24, still very young and she's got her whole life ahead of her. She can still specialise in another field, if she so chooses. :)

That said, I do hope she turns up at NYC. Many girls have chosen to skip it, and it'd be refreshing to see her there, instead of watching a battery of new faces with half-arsed walks. Does she have a showcard, BTW?

^ Nobody has posted her showcard yet. I bet she'll just be there for special requests.

Guys, this thread turns a little sad for me, you're talking like if she was retiring... But Pavonine you did summarize everything so well. But i feel like she had accomplished a lot of campaigns, specially during her beginning specifically in the 2006's seasons... i feel that her work slowed down after fall 2009 and now it has recover a lot in the Fall 2012 editorials ad campaigns, but it's so true that most of models had a lot "mentors" who gave them work, and help them a lot in their careers, although i thought Carine really liked her, not her favourite of course, but one models that she really likes.

BTW the amount of 91 shows it's an amazing record :O

^^

but Vlada hasnt completely passed yet and she still is big on the runways
and still walks a lot of blue chip shows while others have completely phased out, she will stay on the runways for a very long time , imo
a runway queen even all these years

although yes her prime has passed but she still bags campaigns every season like Swarovski and others for this season, Vlada still needs to work on editorials
as she was not exposed much in doing editorials/covers since she started modeling although Vlada has had improvements from seeing her newer eds
what you mean is that Vlada hasnt done something as big as vodianova.

It's pretty obvious that Natalia has come a long way and is way ahead of Vlada in terms of campaign, magazine covers, and eds. But for runway, it's a different story. :ninja:

That's gonna be my last comment for Nat and Vlada as they're like my two most favorite models. Hehe!

What's great about Vlada is her ability to stay active in the business for a long period of time. Meaning, she's very flexible. Besides, she hasn't passed a season without any "work" so I'm pretty optimistic that Vlada will surprise us again. ;)

We should also take into consideration the points raised by Pavonine (the lack of support from editors and other major designers). Despite this challenge, Vlada was able to withstand everything! ^_^

Vlada, Lily and Natasha I think have some of the best runway resumes of the past recent years.

Never seen this one before..

That was a pretty nice comment, hopefully she surprises us, and i'm sure she still has a lot to give in fashion.

That shot with Ruslana is really beautiful, haven't seen it, altough it makes sad to see her with Ruslana, everytime in fact i see a picture her. :(

Into The Light – Photographer David Vasiljevic and model Vlada Roslyakova pair up for a monochromatic series in the September issue of Elle UK. Styled by Anne-Marie Curtis, the Russian beauty looks ready for space travel while sporting classic silhouettes mixed with futuristic accessories from the likes of Prada, Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant and Calvin Klein.

I'm sorry this is so late guys! :( I got a new scanner and I'm still fidgeting with it and it's a bit smaller than my last one, so the quality isn't the best D:

These are pictures of Vlada in Swarovski's Magazine [Issue 2 for 2011]
[not an editorial]

If there's anything you'd like scanned again, please feel free to PM or leave me a comment and I'll be happy to do it :flower:
Also, I also received Issue 3 of the Swarovski Magazine recently so I can go scan Vlada's pictures once my mum's finished perusing the magazine's pages :p

totally agree! but dont forget about Natasha :)

That photo with Ruslana its just so cute. Brings out so many memories about Ruslana. Makes me sad the fact she isnt here anymore. Did knew they were close friends. Was that picture taken after a show? or were they just playing around?

Pretty sure it was taken on Halloween. I, too, always get sad when I see photos of the two together. :( They seemed pretty close.

Thanks for the scans Sweetpop :flower:
