Vlada Roslyakova and Katya Sycheva couldn’t remember how they first met. Really.
Katya was studying at the Omsk University and working as a model scout at the Eskimo Model Agency. Vlada was intending to become a student of some university in Omsk but somehow ended up becoming a “new face” on the Eskimo model list. Vlada made her catwalk debut for Katya Sycheva’s graduation runway show.
Afterwards, Katya moved to St. Petersburg to work for a Russian designer Alena Akhmadullina, she later became an art-director of the brand. After quitting she made a number of unique costumes for Renata Litvinova’s feature film “Rita’s Last Fairytale”.
Vlada left Omsk and went to Paris to soon be named a “top model”. She has travelled all over the world and done ad campaigns for Nina Ricci, Moschino Cheap & Chic, D&G, Oscar de la Renta Bridal, Burberry Blue Label, Hermès, Miss Sixty, MaxMara, Christian Lacroix, Christian Lacroix Fragrance, Dolce & Gabbana, Jill Stuart Beauty, Jill Stuart Fragrance, Derercuny, DKNY, Daks Japan, Karl Lagerfeld, Etro, H&M, Lacoste and Swarovski. As well as countless editorials and magazine covers. Vogue Paris declared her one of the top 30 models of the 2000s.
They kept in touch, though. Last spring they met again to find out they had similar interests and plans. And it’s still all about clothes. Katya wants to make them, while Vlada knows exactly how they should be presented.
So, this is how SESTRA was born)
Make-up and clothes are perfect for her.Great surprise from Vlada! Lovely makeup at MK's show.
the show's makeup is perfect on her - strong lips, rosy cheeks. it really brings out her eyes.
