That Solve editorial is shockingly beautiful especially coming out of the pages of V! Like...Vogue Hommes what’s good?

I really love every editorial. Not sure who Jacob is but Chris' photos make me interested in finding out.

Watch him in Euphoria. He plays an absolutely awful character, and yet.... that winds up being part of the appeal? Confusing times. A good show.

A pretty good issue overall. A lot better than what Vogue Hommes offer, I find their editorials and cast more varied and interesting.

The Solve editorial with Parker puts the current Vogue Hommes one to shame.

The swimming shot from Sundsbo's editorial reminds me instantly of similar shots in Matthias Vriens McGrath's "A Bigger Splash" editorial for Numero Homme. I guess it's not a very original concept.

Maybe that's because they are both inspired by David Hockney's A Bigger Splash?

Very impressed with this issue, but then VMan has always been mostly good. Gan is clearly better at doing men's fashion than he is at V. He should just amp up the written content because there's hardly anything to read.
The only gripe I have is the Sundsbo edit which is indeed stunning, but yet again I fail to see what makes Cortina such a great stylist. His work is just so generic and nondescript imo, always relying on photography and exceedingly attractive/popular men to make an impression. I mean, a pastel shirt and lilac swim shorts? Really? Menswear is at such an interesting point in fashion history right now and that's what he comes up with? I think if this styling proposal would have been sent to the EIC by a lesser-known they would have been turned down flat.

Overall, very happy with the content and it's worth collecting imo. You have just about every popular male model in the industry, the stunning Jorge Lopez who took Saint Laurent messaging to a cool level, some great styling, and ok photography.

This is the second time I've seen Colls ditch his blurry b&w style in favour of some outdoor colours. Wonder what's that all about?

Vriens McGrath's editorial is wearing the influence on its sleeve with the editorial name, but no other image in Sundsbo's ed brings Hockney to mind (at least for me). Vriens McGrath's ed has several images that look like were inspired by "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)" and/or "Paper Pool". The swimming shot in Sundsbo's ed looks, to me, far more similar to Vriens McGrath's interpretation (which has achieved some internet notoriety in recent years since it was revealed the model in the photo might be the now-successful actor Taylor Kitsch) than it does Hockney's original. I might be reaching, in fact I probably am reaching, since Hockney is a common reference, but that's how I see it!
