Gosh Kim is such a beautiful woman. You forget sometimes...

I wish they had commissioned an amazing writer to do a longform profile of her rather than that Vogue/Proust questionnaire... One of my favourite profiles of all time has got to be the Vanessa Grigoriadis story that went with Kim's Rolling Stone cover last year.

Ok, ok, she doesn't look remotely inoffensive in that edit. All thanks to Lachlan Bailey. It seems fitting that he got a special edition, his work for this mag is going from strength to strenth.
The Daphne Guiness story and fashion edit looks amazing! I actually would be inclined to get this issue.

Still weird to see the fashionization of Lewis Hamilton. He's just such a random choice, but I suppose it was bound to happen after years of dominating GQ covers.

^Thanks so much for posting.

I'm most excited for Kadel.
He really knows how to do beach editorials.

I don't really like the styling in Greg's edit but the photography (and Mathilde) is fantastic!

Really like everything about this issue: Photography, styling, layout and art and fashion direction has been consistently strong— maybe not the most solid in terms of branding, but it’s really more directional than so many other Vogues. Looks like the design team’s big-upping Fabien shamelessly, and has late-80s Interview and Liz’s American Bazaar issues to pour over for their direction. And it works for me without it looking like a rip-off.

I don’t know how some bother to summon the energy to hate this woman; she’s doesn’t do anything to elicit any feelings from me from either end of the emotional spectrum. She’s that pretty, pointless, and slightly annoying popular girl in high school, but completely uninteresting and ultimately harmless. I do think she’s styled and shot beautifully here, and that’s what wins me over; To take someone who is such a non-entity (to me) and give her such a presence takes talent and skills. I think they’ve succeeded. I still don’t care what this woman has to say, but on a purely superficial, fashion plane, I like their branding of her.

Love the Roksanda Ilincic feature! Her designs are so effortlessly beautiful, but the price points?? Unjustifiable, unless it's purely based on the prestige of her brand.
