All these edits feel like up-market, overpriced Australian boutique look book imagery for the website and social media, not editorials. Sadly, that is the state of Australian fashion so who can blame them.

I will say, Lorde does look good here, although they've styled her a little pretentiously in the edit which is at odds with the cover. Was hoping for something a little more relaxed and undone.

And that damn Miu Miu strikes again!

Vogue Australia just trumped US Vogue's October 2021 cover with Lorde! This may not be the most visually-arresting but I'm rather obsessed with it. I love Alique's photography here, how sharp the cover image is, the colouring, the beauty styling and the choice of Saint Laurent.
