Vogue Australia September 2006: Keira Knightley

Since Aus Vogue hardly anything original these days , I've been wondering which cover (from US Vogue) they are going to steal. I think they will use Kate Hudson because her movie just came out so there will be an opportunity to use her.

What about you guys, who do you think they will put on the cover?

Does Vogue Australia have any budget money for an actual authentic cover shoot instead of re-using US VOGUE covers all the time?

I can't believe Vogue Australia was the first magazine to have a new Gucci ad in it! I was so shocked and pleased at the same time!

I must admit this was the best issue in a long time (even if it re-used some editorials).

lol i was walking past the newsagents today to see if they have new aussie vogue and instead i saw this cover and thought they only had US vogue when in fact it was AUS vogue!!

yeah i find it interesting that aus vogue seem to have new ads that other mags overseas don't. like last month's aus vogue had a Fendi one (the double page one with 3 bags on Angela's arm) that no one had when they were busy scanning ads. that particular ad didn't get scanned until later and even when it did, it was only a single page ad.

they haven't had a good run of covers since 2004 when Justin Smith was shooting all there stuff...he hasn't done things for them for a while

I have no problem though, if the cover is taken by them and not so good

I think shes a good cover star because she looks so vastly different in all shots. (long hair, pixie cut, slimmed down...built for a film, in costume...) she covers all areas better than most models. Id rather see her than another Kate Moss Cover.

A question for any English postee's, do you all loathe Kiera Knightley because she has so much exposure in England in particular or is it for other reasons? Is she popular in Britain, like insanely-overexposed-every-magazine-cover popular?

I'm bored and sick of this. I dont mind that the cover girls arent well known celebrities (actually, I definitely prefer models!)- all I want are AUS issues, as opposed to lets-see-how-close-we-trick-people-to-think-its-US-issue vogue...

I've liked all the aus covers they've done. But that aside, cant judge a book by its cover.
