It's a decent font that's similar to Vogue Korea's layout around late 2022-mid 2023.
Sucks to know that they'll only print out one cover.

Did Margaret choose Chu to have another Vogue cover because of the

The second cover with the maroon-coloured Prada is abysmal, as if the month of January isn't dismal enough already! The red of the Prada skirt on the first cover does help brighten the gloomy (albeit stunning) backdrop in the first cover somewhat, which I am able to appreciate. What a pair of weak covers from Vogue China!

January in China is very different from January in the West LOL The New Year doesn't officially arrive until Feb 10.

Cover preferences aside— and the Prada cover is a foldout (I totally dig how androgynous she looks and how pensive and dreamy the mood is), this is a very strong issue with gorgeous and expensive fashions stories that showcase the Chinese landscape and aesthetic so supremely. Even the 2 Western reprints elevate the issue rather than drag them down. 5 full fashion stories altogether that flow seamlessly, effortlessly and classic Vogue-gravefully from one to another. Very classic Arthur Elgort/Annie Leibovitz/Peter Lindberg in its gentleness. Marge has been stumbling, fumbling and even cracking from time to time. But this issue is very strong, and even reminiscent of classic Angelica-level of Vogue China. She did well this time.

(Not to be dismissive of Zorka’s posts, just posting as an alternative of the coverstory for those that would also like to see the original spreads. Along with reprints of Annie's Edward Hopper-inspired shoot and Emmanuel Lubezski's shoot in Mexico, the concept of travel flows beautifully.)

I like the cover with the red Prada fringe skirt. It is brighter than the second version and upbeat. The location is stunning and a few of the cover story photographs are beautiful. This editorial should be reprinted globally.
