What a surprise! Never thought that they would go for Cynthia, to some degree, she does represent hope though.

The cover line of second one is trite, especially after being profited by MGC for years!

The second cover is the most disturbing thing when they all wear Chanel to convey the “Dior-ish” message.

Cynthia Nixon? I feel so nostalgic! But the cover is a typical try-hard BS. I wonder will Cynthia herself like this cover?

Wait, what? How random. Here I thought she quit being a celebrity.

The second cover looks like Karens blocking you.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

True, while the first cover is the white saviour meets Florence Nightingale. Not exactly my cup of tea, and I don't know if the least favourite Sex and the City cast member will bring in newsstand sales and likes/shares for Vogue Czechoslovakia.

Once again I'm underwhelmed by this magazine's covers alone. At least they're consistent in that sense.

Thanks for the offer, Vogue Czechoslovakia, but no, we shouldn't, I can only imagine the stinky mess of a world if everybody was an activist. As if whiny Twitter users or pseudo activists on Instagram aren't enough.

Also, I have a counterproposal!

ALL VOGUES SHOULD BECOME ICONIC FASHION MAGAZINES AGAIN INSTEAD OF HUMILIATING THEMSELVES WITH EFFORTS AT POLITICS AND ACTIVISM

Edit:

forgot to mention that @MDNA comment left me dead :D

My guilty pleasure of the day! Though
I have to look up what Karen means trough Wikipedia.

Honestly it should have been Sarah Paulson instead of Cynthia Nixon...

We should all be activists, the hope issue

while the first cover promotes the female stereotype - being a mother

That is hilarious, I did think "She looks an awful lot like Cynthia Nixon" before scrolling down.

@Benn98 The slander! Her character has definitely been reevaluated over the last few years. I would even say that she is way more popular than Charlotte and Carrie.

A fashion title admonishing people about wasting resources... and also one that chooses to produce those two covers amid the current mood of protests... about two decades ago, this type of tone-deaf nonsense would have been storylines in Ab Fab.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, sweetie, I’m so sorry they’ve ripped off your words for this shiitake.
