I love it!!:heart: Penelope and Vogue Spain are a perfect match! It makes me sad that I can’t get the issue in my country :(

I like Penelope and she’s just gorgeous in this issue and unsurprisingly better at this than most people that run Vogues for a living. The moment I saw the title of that Almodóvar-inspired story, I had to play that Tacones Lejanos scene and sighs .. that song elevates everything.

Thanks for posting guys!

Great issue. Can't wait to see the rest. Thanks Ben for posting the eds.

It's actually something worthwhile to have, especially for those who like her a lot. There's also a story on Javier Bardem and his mentor, as well as one on Almodovar's family - both shot by Nico Bustos. Plus a Karl tribute, and a selection of vintage Spanish fashion street scenes.

At the end of the day, Vogue Spain really got more than they bargained for by letting Penélope edit the issue because she came with her little black book. She got them vintage Chanel which incidentally works in her favour as I'm sure Chanel will not be lending out vintage looks for some time now because everyone will want to shoot them as a tribute to Karl, she got them Lindbergh, and the very personal Almodovar exclusive.

While this is actually a very good issue. Penelope is definitely a better editor than some people. Also she's pulled strings and get exclusives that are interesting and make this magazine miles better.

Initially, I thought I'd only get the Luigi & Iango cover but couldn't resist and decided to treat myself to both covers! The last issue of Vogue Spain I bought was in 2017 with Raquel Zimmermann, and I can honestly say that I'm quite impressed with the magazine today... looks very sophisticated, smart and refined inside upon first glance.

The shot of Penelope by L&I in the orange ruffled dress is my favorite thing to come from the issue, and the cover with that shot just looks glorious in the gatefold on the glossy card. The whole entire issue overall looks very well put together and I'm also particularly fond of those fake Vogue covers with the Spanish actresses.

Side note: does anyone have any hacks as to how to remove the stickers from covers, without removing the gloss? I've heard about the hairdryer method but dare try myself.
