Kim is covering her face in the close-up shots without makeup...Does this not defeat the purpose?

Wow @ Lineisy in that black coat and black jacket!! So hot.

The beauty story is a bit of a let-down mostly because of the disappearance of the one girl's t*t in the second shot, and that unfortunate last shot.

do not like that woman, but, have to say she does look ok in her editorial, more natural (if that's possible ) the other editorials look very good

I don't want to see "makeup free" edits in Vogue. I want fantasy and glamour. This could be an issue of UK Glamour. It's seriously lacking the aspirational factor.

wow, the first and second shot of Kim look really great! I amazed with her editorial. It looks so relaxed and she's not trying too hard to look cool.

Et voilà, we have nice pictures of Kim (even if they have nothing to do in Vogue, she looks great here) and then two with her pants pulled up, way too high from her jeans, in a very natural way  well, what did I expect ^^ ? "With open mouth" looks very good.

Although this is her very nice editorial, I am quite annoyed that's not Vogue's aesthetics: Where is the flair and the fabulousness ? Kim's ed looks like a bunch of photos which were taken and adjusted by VSCOCam then uploaded to the Instagram profile.

Kim aside, I find it quite surprising that people dont seem impressed with Spanish Vogue taking a carefree, 'real', and attainable route for their cover and editorial. This is not something they do often. It seems there are different standards for different editions because had the British, Australian version publish a story with this theme, there wouldn't be any issues, I'm sure. I'm all for all-out aspirational glamour, but a bit of reality and effortless ease every now and then isn't bad. Especially not for readers in a country such as Spain, ridden with financial woes.

^I do agree with you, I also like natural approach to it. But I don't consider it a risk if they do this with Kim K. Kardashians are apparently good for business (since they are everywhere) so a real risk would the natural look with someone less famous.
And I think most people are mostly turned off by Kim, to be honest.

I got hold of this today, and I didn't realise from the scans, how unretouched the cover shot actually seems. You can see the wrinkles around her knuckles, lines under her eyes, pores on her nose - all sorts of tiny details on her skin.

I never thought that the most realistic cover I'd see all year would involve a shot of Kim Kardashian. I didn't mind the rest of the issue either.

What happened to the eds? the links don't work

Nice photo on the cover but "la Kardashian"? Using "la" before the surname or name of a woman is considered pretty colloquial (and even a bit tacky) in Spain, very tabloid-ish, shouldn't be used on Vogue.
