Is that a feminist cupcake she's eating, or is that theme so 'last issue'?

I don't mind Kim that much, but I laugh at UK Elle's attempts to portray themselves as social activists when, first and foremost, they don't even make the effort to be a decent fashion magazine.

Liven up your editorials, sort out your page design - it's like looking at a sea of small print - and then talk to me about something worthwhile. Because then I'll be looking and listening.

Her stomach is mega photoshopped in the cake eating one. It makes sense that they'd pick her, seeing that she's a complete narcissist.

I'm so sick of seeing her and her family everywhere, ESPECIALLY in the fashion world. Everyone's treating her as if she's some fabulous fashion icon with such originality, but in reality, it was Kanye who made her who is she today and changed her style. If she wasn't married to him, she'd still be hoochie chic and Ricardo, Anna and Carine wouldn't be giving her the time of day.

Don't panic everyone, there's a cover with Eddie Redmayne on. All is not lost. Clearly someone at British Elle has at least some form of a grip on reality.

you COMPLETELY screwed up all the "Hooplah" around the feminist issue by putting the least feminist woman on the cover and completely over sexualising her and to TOP IT ALL OFF, a special cover dedicated to MEN!

I'm not sure how Mondino got embroiled in this. Odd how Elle hires a range of different photographers with distinctive styles, yet end up with the same result.

Thanks to Anna Wintour who put Kim K on the cover of Vogue US other magazines feel compelled to follow the suit.
Elle is pretty much irrelevant and of course it is going to pull off gimmicks to get people talking about the magazine. See even people here are raging and commenting so I could say it is a "success."

If you're talking about December with Emma Watson I disagree. I didn't think she was over sexualised and having Benedict on another cover is displaying the imporance of showing men as feminists too.

Im talking about neither. Im taking about following up the feminist issue with this heap of c**p. A woman who is known for being a complete idiot and photographing her in her pants licking a cupcake of her fingers.

Confidence issue or not, This was not a good choice to follow up an issue dedicated to "Feminism".

Good for her. At this point, it's already exhausting & normal to see this family every weeks.
But seriously, Kim in the cover of the confidence issue? if she was that self-confident would she be using surgery for her face, nose & infamous booty?

I think the only person i can trust in that industry for not putting any Kardashian on the cover is Steven Meisel.

You're absolutely right. It does seem pretty exhausting to hate her especially because she's everywhere and after Vogue who honestly cares?! She landed the crown jewel of covers (regardless of what we might think about the currently quality of American Vogue) what difference does a UK Elle cover make?!

I think people are being too harsh, sure Kim is a polarising figure but I don't believe you would've had such a strong reaction if the Paper cover never happened. That being said I think all three covers are a disappointment, though the cake eating one is at least interesting. I love however Eddie's cover, the double denim is magnificent haha!
