One of those cookie-cutter closeup covers that could be printed on any edition, for any month. Laura Dern is already a tough sell for me, and the fact that she's not making direct eye-contact and the nondescript styling just makes this cover more generic imo.

A classic scenario for me here: curious and excited to read the thread title, but got pretty much disappointed when I saw the visual. Laura looks miserable.

Laura’s beauty and power as a performer simply does not translate to print. It’s one flop after another when it comes to her magazine appearances. The good news is, in my not-so-humble opinion, she’s still one of the best actors in the history of film.
