Vogue France February 2025 : Natasha Poly by Willy Vanderperre

A great use of those futuristic and funky Prada sunglasses! I think the cover is absolutely perfect. It looks striking, clean, modern, and fresh. Poly is a great choice because she is a beautiful model who has presence. The cover will be memorable. The fashion editorial looks so good as well.

Vogue France, girl, you go for it! I’d much rather see them take risks than play it safe, no matter how the end product turns out. Experimentation is the lifeblood of reinvention, and if unexpected choices like this are what it takes to rebuild this magazine, I’m all for it. Just give it time. I think they're finally moving in positive direction.

"timeless sensuality" and the poor woman looks like a mosquito
Frankly speaking, I've seen a few mosquitos look far better.

And, no, I don't even hate this 'thing' of a cover-story. It's way too hollow and nonsensical to wake up any kind of feeling, let alone hate or... love (because I can sometimes fall in love with genuinely cheesy stuff).

same photographer and same model. What happened in the last 15 years?

What's the risk they're taking here?
Hurting sensitive eyes, perhaps, but not sure this is even going to happen to anyone.

I honestly wondered if the whole comment @GivenchyHomme wrote was made of pure irony as it would have sounded this way if I personally wanted to do it.

I suppose, in the words of the iconic Jujubee: "Nerve? She had the nerve to wear those ugly a*s shoes." Is pretty much how I feel about the cover in terms of "risk.

I like the cover, isn't a glorious one, but decent and looks more suitable for Italia than France. Of couse is Willy Vanderperre, so don't expect amazing glamorous shots like David Sims or Inez & Vinoodh from him, but still works (I only dislike his Prada ads, that looks far from his early photos...). I have seen worse covers compared to this, from this edition or other sisters publications. And finally, a former VP icon like Natasha on the front. Just for the name it makes me think about the great years. Not the Mert & Marcus' Natasha, but it's her, a legend herself. Not the actress of the moment or the singer, or even the daughter of, just a beloved model.

I’m lost at words. the cover could’ve been tremendous with just a different shirt/ top! the editorial is so incredibly sad…

our gorgeous Poly didn’t deserve this.

100% agreed, they did her dirty, not just in the one image 😑

It have only one reprint (the models one from US Vogue) and another original story called "I am Mia" (mia armstrong) with 16 pages styled by Dan Sablon....They used several Guy Bourdin images from the archive. Also comes an interview with Julien Dossena.

Ah Claire's letter state she is Global contributing editor (same in masthead)...but the accompanying picture screams more "influencer" than editor lol
