Vogue France June/July 2025 : Gisele Bündchen by Mario Sorrenti

Still don’t mind Claire.

She’s clearly desperate to keep up with Emmanuelle’s Vogue and her legendary June/July template of hot summer babes, with less than adequate results of course that at best, is very junior discount attempts. Even decent talents and a superior model like Imaan, is dragged down by Claire's lesser talents. But it’s a passable summer issue; What other Vogue editions make any effort anymore???

The only decent story is Imaan’s of course. Even with that r*tchet Vuitton Firestone sneaker in every select, Alistair’s TEMU-styling, and Mario’s annoying fishbowl lens, she can't be dragged down. She really is that amazing and deserves the superior French Bazaar treatment. Vogue is so beneath her.

Claire Thompson Jonville is cleaning the mess left by the past EIC.
Seriously, what on earth made them hire the previous one? I understand bad decisions every once in awhile, but Condé Nast just can't seem to do anything right, to the point where it feels like someone in charge has been secretly sabotaging the company for the past decade.

gosh thats tragic... Gisele with messy hair looks sleepy like a woman in the morning on Maldives coming down to hotel breakfast. Zero good shots, everything is taken from a far and you barely see her, plus this poses and uncentred layout. Double Sorrenti and double McKimm girlfriend. Are we out of contributors lately? Gisele had better shootings even with same Sorrenti, Imaan had better than this, Sorrenti had loads of sun-see-sky-summer blue shots in VP. This gum was chewed for two days and then put back in the mouth.

God I LOVE Claire Thompson Jonville! So chic, and her style is AMAZING!!!

Love her cover choices too!

Sometimes it's better not to go back.

This edition of Vogue is trying its best to give us something, and it's somehow managed to negotiate the freedom (and funding) to do more of its own thing than any other main European edition, so the potential is there.

It's a pity that Imaan wasn't the cover star, because her editorial is probably the highlight of this issue. It's heresy to say this, because I'm a hardcore fan, but I could have done without Gisele.

I find myself wondering what their September issue is going to look like.

I agree, the two editorials are like day and night in terms of modeling, Gisele's posing here is lazy and boring, either she has lost it or the team relied too much on the fact that she is "Gisele".

This all looks like a bad catalogue shoot for not even so rich expats in Bali. Tragic lol
