My thoughts exactly. After having her jewellery rob in paris, I would say this cover is perfect.

In this moment, there's covers of Vogue with them in newsstands - Kris in Sept Vogue Paris; Kendall (plus Gigi) Oct Vogue US; Kim Oct Vogue Paris.

How much truly have Kardashian Influence in Conde Nast? Do they actually sell that much they are good to put on cover? Is this some sort of stand to Wintour, as they matter (became house hold names in media influence/celebrities)? Or do they pay to be in it?

This is such a lazy and obvious attempt at 'trying to be part of the conversation', instead of driving the conversation. You can tell they're all trying to model these global Vogues after the American edition. I'm sure a Vogue France cover hardly holds the same currency it had during the Alt years, or even during Eugenie's tenure.

Eugenie's covers had currency? I am sorry but I despised the majority of them and the issues full of reprints and just awful generic graphic design.

Honestly, not a bad decision on Claire's part.
At this point, bashing Kim or cheering for Kim are equal clichés so I don't want to participate... Claire put Khloé (or Kourtney?) on before for a feature on bien etre so I see much of her pov through this lens. Putting Kim on their cover it's a statement of sorts, so I am more curious to see the inside stories and see what her cut is. Pairing her with Seklaoui is already a good choice.

One issue from Alt's tenure I still love today is the Rihanna one (I got Goude's cover) it's just VFr's approach when it comes to these celebrities is more intimate in a way (who knew Ri's beauty inspo was Veruschka??) At least she's engaged in a bigger conversation unlike most of other French mags.
VFr is somewhat on a roll. What she's doing over there is akin to what JJB did in the 90's. Her last few issues have been hits but I'm still waiting for that one amazing image/story.
