Vogue Germany July 2013 : Linda Evangelista & Choupette by Karl Lagerfeld

First there's French Numéro giving us a dark and depressing issue for summer, and now Vogue Germany.

I know Karl Lagerfeld barely branches out of his monochrome-zone. Although I would of expected at least one uplifting editorial from Lagerfeld. Not even Linda Evangelista can revive her story from mediocrity. Yeah, her presence is everything, should make fashionistas scream from the rooftops, but the images are flat and lifeless. I bet if Steven Meisel was to handle the exact same scenario with Linda, we'd of seen a much more interesting outcome.

Linda's ed is really dull, I agree with vogue28. I can see the inspiration was found in Vogue Italia, Dolce & Gabbana and Monica Bellucci.

Traumschön and Grosse Freiheit are beautiful editorials! Linda's is nice, too, but she's played that role in editorials so many times.
