Vogue Germany November 2022 : Elizabeth Debicki by Scott Trindle

GORGEOUS! It looks like a vintage French Vogue. Their best cover this year.

Sentiments I shared in The Cover Rumors thread still stand, it feels most random to see Elizabeth on Vogue Germany after Claire, Olivia and Emma all scored bigger editions for the same project. This cover feels dated in the best possible sense of the word, it's spectacularly reminiscent of the turn of the cenutry Vogue covers and Elizabeth's face is that of the beautiful top models that reigned over that era. In fact, she looks like a perfect mixture of Anastassia Khozissova and Colette Pechekhonova here. I love it! Completely unexpected and worlds apart from what I would expect from a promotion of The Crown. Very well done! I love it.

Would you care to snap some previews for us?

Edit: I also felt the need to note just how exciting and powerful a cover like this would be today if we didn't already know that the issue consists exclusively of British reprints from that hideous November issue. I, for one, would definitely go out of my way to secure a copy. This way it's just a waste of a great cover.

I'm betting this photo/editorial was taken for British Vogue.
And it was supposed to be a British cover.

This is stunning. I love Elizabeth. They might be holding out for awards season to give her a British or American vogue cover

OH MY GOD… I don't know who she is, but this cover is wonderful. Simple and effective, unpretentious, it looks like a vintage Harper's Bazaar from the days of Kirsty Hume!

As expected, a ton of reprints from the US and UK versions. There's an editorial with Vittoria Ceretti & another model I dont know by Alasdair McLellan. I’m not sure I have seen that one? Maybe one of you knows! I'm sharing a snap here:

That’s excellent, I wish this had been the UK cover. She photographs so well.

I like everything but the hair as it feels really dated to me but the editorial looks good!

apart from the reprints I’m very curious to see the content.

I´m sharing everyone´s exciting sentiments about this

I echo most comments; this would have been amazing as a Vogue UK cover. I understand the politics behind all this, but still, seeing her now on Vogue Germany feels so random.
