Vogue Germany October 2019 : Diane Kruger by Juergen Teller

I love this but I'm bias since I love Diane and I love Juergen.

My god, what is this, even!!!

And i don't even hate Teller's work, and think he has carved out a nice place for himself, but this is awful, from start to finish. Diane can't save this, she deserved better actually!

Badass cover, she looks sexy and the location and style are on point!

Vogue Germany haven't done a proper Berlin fashion portfolio as far as I remember, which is a sacrilege. I was there a few weeks ago and it's a phenomenally beautiful city.

Sadly I think Teller will ruin the opportunity to shoot in the city by the looks of this outdated "indie" extended portfolio featuring "notable figures"...I used to love his work and the wit it would often exude, but I mean I looked at his W shoot with Lily Cole in Washington DC the other night and comparing it to this s*t makes you want to cry, seriously!

I will always have a problem with covers that look dirty and unpolished but I actually don't mind the cover and the subject.

The issue is a real disappointment! 408 pages, and this is the only fashion content other than a short front book edit which look so random. Just can't get over the fact that Arp has been building up all year....to this. In theory one short Diane Kruger edit, because the rest were lifted from Teller's library - many shots WHICH WE'VE SEEN BEFORE ELSEWHERE.

There is a 'greatest hits' feature with some of the magazine's iconic images throughout. But I'm not sure whether that alone is worth buying the print copy.

Yes. Awesome editorial includes my favorite New Order album! and Nina Hagen, thank you for sharing this. Danke.

where is fashion???? :yuk::shock:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

When I read 80-off pages by Juergen Teller I knew there'd be a decent lack of fashion. A graffitied gritty park here, a GMO-filled pommes currywurst there. Only surprised 'the pride of Berlin' didn't made the cut:

Don't mind him doing this sort of thing for an odd month, but defs not for the magazine's official anniversary issue. Oh well, roll on November!

I adore Diane Kruger, but the cover is incredibly disappointing.
