Vogue Italia December 2024 by Rafael Pavarotti

The covers are diabolical... Testino would've made them work.

My God this is terrible, although I generally like Rafael Pavarotti. This is Maty Fall's third Vogue Italia cover in 2024.

after global editorial team started in november 2021, Conde Nast stop collaboration with A-list contributors like photographers, stylists or art-directors and now they take them only on occasion for big issues: anniversary`s, opening sesons` issues like septembers ones or the new year`s. Turns out bland , bad, boring... Monthly magazines had forgotten how to work.

Anok's covers looks like a continuation of her Vogue France cover. This one is better. Also glad to see Alek scoring another one. And make-up by Pat?! Notice she's working for more photographers now and she always steals the show. She's magnificent.

I guess they wanted to recreate some Studio54 vibe. It's impossible to avoid social media, even is to blame for the current status in every single area. Though is a cool idea making a fashion story during a real party.

Alek's cover should've been the only one that ran tbh

I love Anok and Matty's covers, the rest are awful. I'm shocked that Paloma can't take a good photo.

Should we draw inspiration from this? Not only is it not worthy of a cover, it shouldn’t even be printed. I believe this reflects the result of a generation raised primarily on Instagram. It's truly sad.

A little context

When party pics made Vogue covers hahahaha…terrible

maybe Alek’s cover and still… kinda bad.

I don't know whether this would rate higher or lower than UK Vogue dedicating an issue to the closing of Vogue House, I'm sure these events are meaningful to those who were there at the time, but they might not be of great relevance or interest to the majority of their audience.
