I didn't like it right away, but I think I am convinced...and it could grown on me even more. It does work, somehow. There's something about the combination of the nails, pound sign and her expression that completes the cover image overall. Could have been a total miss by miles.

So happy to see my favorite new model on a Vogue cover!!! When I first saw it, it reminded me of Christy Turlington and her 1990 Versace campaign...it looks sooo early 90s. or late 80s.

Anyway, this is a beautiful picture of a beautiful woman and from the previews I honestly expected Abbey to grace the cover.

i see it more poking fun Hispanics in California very similar to Gwen Stefani's Luxurious video as well taking it back to the 90s a la Lil Kim. I would take offense but it's done so over the top that it's very cartoonish and i cant take it seriously at all.

I'm very happy that Joan finally got her first Vogue cover. I like this cover, but I think cover would look much better if picture would be little bit zoom out. Can't wait to see the main photoshoot, I hope the pictures will look better than the previews.

I had the exact same thoughts, I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Love that a Latina got the March Cover. Even more impressive that it was an ethnic model.

Hm. Not too sure what to think. I'm ecstatic for Joan because she definitely deserves VI to her name, but the cover is kind of bleck. I don't really like the wackiness of it. I think the OTT theme could have been executed better than what it has been.
