Me too. OMG.
Praying and Kneeling that it is indeed Saner!
It kind of bothers me that their second editorial with black models is almost exactly like the other editorial with black models in this issue. Can they not think of other ways to think of to shoot models?

If you see the whole thing, you may see the difference between the 2 spreads. the first one is a tribute to black beauties and the 1960's afros and kinky hair, the second one is about style and smile.... the rest is Ellen von Unwerth's usual work....
Also I don't understand why we can't use *black* to qualify a fashion story starting a black model (s) the word -black- is not racist, or offensive.. Isn't it?
that said..... I really enjoyed this issue, Steven Meisel is really at his best.
Thanks for clarifying. I'm not even that disappointed because I love Ashley just as much as Juliano... its not Julia Saner, its Ashley Smith
the problem is because VI always makes it an issue by having "Black" in the title, as opposed to coming up with a creative title for the editorial story. Instead they have "Black beauties" or "Black Allure" which isn't something they do when there is a group of white models together in an editorial.
there's a short backstage clip gone online to the Chealsea Hotel spread:

Does anyone know how the Ann Ward spread is?
So are the images and text all on one page? If that is the case then people can now start giving VI the side eye, because that is under-delivering, I don't think that it should have been a 10+ pages, but at least three to four, I would have even accepted two, because in this case the Vincent Peters images weren't that great IMO. Also, in fairness to VI they have had the images on the website, and I do think that Tyra has switched her message around to include / emphasize that being featured on Vogue Italia's web site is a key part of the prize.it's black and white portraits only. a few of them, but not full page, it's not properly an ed, there's an accompanying article with the photos
