Someone who works at Condenast just told me that Francesca is high of attention-whoreness and she is considered just a little girl by her peers....but she does much the work of an EIC and deliver 2 or 3 cover options so Edward can choose the final cover published...but of Course she is not as independent as an EIC normally be.

I would rather earn less as EIC but have the last word on everything. What's even the point of having an EIC when Edward is the one making choices?
