I'm not sure I like all the poses in the main ed. But I guess there's a limited amount of poses you can do without looking like you're in pain when you're wearing those corsets! :o I do absolutely adore the styling and especially the corsets in the ed, though.

As always can't wait to see the Miles Aldridge editorial, especially because Jac Jab is in it. Looking forward to seeing the Arizona & Ruby as well as the Chloé Memisevic editorials.

Daphne's editorial looks nice, too. Overall it looks like a nice September issue to me, will definitely be getting this ^_^

I do admit that it's not that great that expect but honestly this is beyond the strongest edition of Vogue (I bought Vogue Paris and Vogue Russia... not yet Vogue US but I don't expect miracles).
People always expect more from VI and it's understandable but fashion in 2011 isn't the same as it was in 1999 (same thing for prices and etc...). I just take a look the last September issue of VI (with Miranda Kerr on the cover) and it's nothing in front of this one, so I think it's a big step forward.

That said, I love all the eds except Sølve Sundsbø's one. Craig McDean's story is the best imo.

This is truly the best issue of the year not just the cover but everything...its really beautiful and special!! I truly love it!!

this is easily the best september issue this year, everything looks flawless so far!

The Steven Klein is one of the best editorials i have seen this year! Great concept, styling, cast, poses, everything is GREAT!
The couture supplement is gorgeous!

I wish the main editorial had more color into it but other than that I'm not complaining. It's the best thing Meisel has produced lately, imo. The review sounds promising, excited to see Ruby and Arizona's ed. And I'm happy to see Brenda Kranz on the pages of VI, even though it's probably taken backstage during the Valentino Haute Couture show.

^not exactly a backstage pics, they strikes some serious poses
as for your girl (Brenda Kranz) I guess it's her, I'm only sure about the first 3 (Mirte, Hanne-Gaby and Iris)

Vogue Italia shoots some pics for Valentino Haute Couture every seasons.
Is this their tradition?

^Actually Vogue Italia has a very close relationship with all the big Italian houses. Many of them have advitorials in the magazine(which are editorials just with the clothes of one brand) and since Valentino is the only Italian house that does Haute Couture in Paris they get Haute Couture advitorials often.A few years ago when Versace had proper haute Couture shows in Paris, there were also Versace advitorials in the Couture supplement.

^The location of the main ed is beautiful and kinda haunting. Did they really put Stella on that really tight corset? It is photoshopped right?

Btw, Love love love Isabeli's editorial, it is just stunning.
