Vogue Japan December 2017 by Giampaolo Sgura

That ed just ruined anything good I was going to say about the cover. Atrocious.

Jhona Burjack's eyebrows are seriously freaking me out.

 I love his brows.

The full length cover makes more sense to me. I like it.
And as been said, the cast is gorgeous.
The group covers may be a bit played out, but, there's a huge difference when employing models instead of a stagnant celebrity cast.
I like the editorial enough.
There is definitely some vintage Bill King/ Albert Watson influence happening, which I love.

Reminds me to this cover and ed with Julia

A great example how an old(er) woman can be used in fashionable & playful, but still classy and elegant way! Vogue Italia should (have) learn from it (especially because they used to work with Comte)!

A mix of Bill King and Richard Avedon's studio style, but I still like it becasue this is one of the few magazines that still shot GLAM-stle cover....

I just need something glamours, that's all.

Wow, this issue is actually spectacular! A perfect balance. Don't recall Vogue Japan using this many Asians talent behind and in front of the lens, must say it makes a tremendous difference. One which I applaud. I'll never cease to marvel at Yuka Mannami. Her backstory is so interesting, to think that if lady luck didn't pay her a call she may have spent her life cleaning bedpans and the likes. Her edits are always stunning, immaculate presence. The second girl in Demarchelier's Dior edit, Gisele Fox, reminds me of a modern Audrey Marney. So doll-like!

Must say I like ALL the edits, which is rare nowadays. Even Instagirl Taylor's. Love the energy in that story. I'm not one to swoon at male models, but the tattooed guy's attitude makes him terribly attractive.
