Yeah, there is something tawdry about this. Less Carine x VP/Tom Ford and more lads mag. I think it's due to the 'girl-next-door' hairstyle.
Yet another dud for Yasmin. But the powers that be have decided that she's to be the 'next best thing' so we'll see these awkward covers until she gets it right.
I saw this on Instagram earlier today and immediately thought that I loved it. Yasmin's been fantastic in print lately, and this cover shot is another example of how fantastic a model she can be. I love the whole smouldering vibe the cover posses, the use of Saint Laurent and how monochromatic the cover is.
Two slight little niggles of mine would be to shift Yasmin to the left a little, to get her body and head more into the middle of the cover, add the U back into the Vogue masthead and preferably a shot where she's looking directly down the camera lens. But I am loving this!
Yasmin was green for a very long time. It looks like she's finally living up to her potential. People didn't keep her around for nothing! I'm happy that she's showing the haters up!
She's getting so much better at expressing herself in print imagery; knew she had something special in her. However I can't get over tigerrouge's interpretation; indeed it does any attempts to take the cover serious in .
