Vogue Korea December 2018 : Yoo Ah-in & Vincent Cassel

I'm guessing with the inordinate amount of solo men on Vogue Korea's covers, they're not really like the rest of the Vogues? As in, maybe they have a higher percentage of male readers? Or the editor, who is male, may be trying to push that sensibility onto his readers?

I think I like the first image. It's like something Slavic Portuguese Vogue or GQ would do. Nice, but not enough. Can't recall when last I've been vaguely interested to flip through this magazine.

How silly it is! Recently, Vogue Korea started to put lots of articles about feminism and diversity, and what? They only gave two covers to asian models and one cover to black model, and we all know the one cover was multiple casting which put asian, black and white models altogether. And now You Ah In? He's really really really problematic person when it comes to feminism. Most of 20s, 30s Korean women don't like him after the issue, and wouldn't buy the magazine if he is on the cover.

why they not produce vogue hommes / vogue man than? i always seen vogue korea always use guy on the cover

Normally, the male celebrities who get the cover of Vogue Korea is K-Pop idol. If they are landed on the cover of magazine, the fans of them would buy enormous amount of magazines. (The august 2018 issue which used the member of K-Pop Idol, exo was the highest sales of Vogue Korea)

This cover is kinda special case, as I know You Ah Inn is close friend of the EIC of Vogue Korea. I think that's the major reason he gets this cover.

The EIC is turning Vogue KR into an idol mag/his fanzine and it's embarrassing. Also, if you wanna do a French theme with Vincent Cassel and the "et", at least get the spelling right, it's rendez-vous.

Stills from Czech Hunter.

HAHAHAHA GIRRLLLLL!!! Lol. Perfect description

The October 2015 cover is fantastic. Chic. This however is, as crmsnsnwflks said, a Czech Hunter still.

However, all things considered, what I like about Vogue Korea is the fact that they’re not scared to put a man on their covers.

And I agree that this magazine has turned into a fanzine, but it sells. K-fever is real.

It was the first male solo cover of Vogue Korea. That's the weird thing. Yeah, it was one of the most successful year to him, but he's not that huge to get first male solo cover of Vogue Korea comparing to other male celebrities. I think it was also affected by his friendship. He's the male celebrity who has numerous friends in Korean Fashion Industry. The photographer who took the oct 2015 is also the friend of him.

He also did December 2016 cover of Vogue Korea.

I like the first cover but the second is horrible. What were they thinking about?
