cant give a proper review on none of the two issues...the Vogue one with Rachel looks pretty boring..there's an editorial with sasha p. and karolina kurkova..and a lot of boring articles about how to make your skin glow this summer, how to get the perfect legs, how to eat healthy on summer...

and the one with gael on the cover is the same...just the opposite: the good cars, best suits (by armani of course), expensive lighters and keyholders, a girl to (i forgot the work :p ) about: elsa pataki. and then editorials about suits in different shades of blue or gray.

I think Rachel looks refreshingly... sultry... on that cover.

We've seen that Rachel cover before, right? I can't remember where, though...

And is the Sasha editorial a reprint from another mag? :flower:

Mexican Vogue is like US Cosmo ... what shocks me its that the mag is SO thin .. and the Vogue Hombre is the sh*ttiest I've ever seen

Yep, sounds like Vogue Mexico and Cosmo/Glamour/Marie Claire could go head-to-head. But thanks for sharing the truth. And all at the risk of letting everyone know that we, the audience, are dull-complected and imperfected... :p:innocent:

I had no idea, though I can only understand the adjectives and pronouns and adverbs, and only some nouns. :p Can't wait till I can actually understand one. :p

I'm not too sure about that Vogue Hombre cover. I just don't think it works...

Why do they al use the same photos
Anyway i like the cover
(i didn't even know that mexico had a vogue :p)

err..you're wrong about that, mexico does not have vogue, vogue sells a translation in mexico. ^_^

Aaah okay
thanks for the info ^_^

same here. i absolutely didn't know there was a Vogue Mexico edition!!!!
it's a translation or is it the same than in some country for some magazine (like Jalouse Russian for instance) = they do their own articles but "steal" the edits from the "Mother Magazine"???

both covers are nice though the rachael weiz one is familiar

they dont do their 'own' articles and they dont 'steal' edits either.
it's a low budget version as you can imagine, so they're not able to finance editorials every month..they do it every 2 issues or so and it's usually a miami-based company the one that affords the model, the photographer, stylist and everything/one in between...and then it's mostly latin american models or photographers, who are the ones doing it merely for patriotic reasons rather than for an extravagant sum of money. ;)
the only stuff that remotely counts as national-produced are all the crappy society events that take more than 15 pages of the magazine...which i believe is the same in most magazine around the world, ugly-looking fellas holding champagne and wearing shinny clothes. ^_^

geez...i missed the moment where having vogue was a huge honor.

mulletproof, can you please scan the karolina kurkova editorial?I'm dieing to see her!
the editorial is set in brazil...with pharell williams, have you seen it?. if not, let me know so i'll scan it for your disgrace. :p

I saw THE worst editorial on a Vogue Mex ... no wait .. I think twas Elle ... anyhow ... the eds are soooo tasteless ... and the "socialites" mostly are on parties for unknown european jewelry lines and such which pretend to be big so they sell in latinamerica ...

I didn't even know there was a Vogue Mexico! It doesn't look very interesting though.
