Vogue Australia?

Layout is terrible! And the color scheme? No

Dutch Vogue is on a roll!! Yet another stunning cover. Love the styling, setting and simplicity of this shot. Victoria could pose less though, and just look a bit more carefree. But her insecurity is such a strong part of her appeal.

The coverline however sounds very Hello magazine. And maybe such a harsh pink probably wasn't the right choice, but this edition is improving (at least in terms of covers).

Gorgeous cover, and total opposite of what i expected clicking on the thread. VB in a swimsuit? And no high heels in sight! Jan Welters is such a good photographer, i always say they should use him more. I'm in a perfect mood for a summer cover like this. And love the little cardigan with the swimsuit.

This is how casual should be done in Vogue! Not an inch of glamour lost, the cover screams of luxury.

Yeah, this cover reminds me Vogue Australia too. It's nice cover BUT this pink font is big misunderstanding.

Very Vogue Australia, but in a good way. Great summer pic.

I just realized that in five years, Vogue Netherlands has been pretty good with not using global famous women like VB. It's been all models, with occassional Royal, and an athlete on last year cover? Unless i missed some other covers!

They get my respect for supporting models mainly, so an odd cover with a celeb, like this, is easier to swallow!

Love everything about it except for the fact that it's Victoria. But I love the cropping, love the position and Jan Welters is underrated in my opinion so it's good he gets more covers.

She looks good & the photography is good but I'm a lil bit tired seeing Victoria on Vogue covers

Pretty big deal for them to have Victoria on the cover! And good shot as well, nice to see her in a different setting and styling. The tagline 'magazine of the year' makes me laugh though.

VB has built a very credible career as a designer, so sometimes it seems a bit odd to see her doing so many shoots for small magazines simply for a miniscule amount of publicity. Her detractors say she's built her brand on taste and left the actual sketching and creating to a huge team, so i guess in this way simply being on Vogue is more of an extension of that taste and her brand than a platform for promotion. I will say she's looking the best she's ever looked, there's something about her hair and makeup now that's so effortless and chic. Even more remarkable compared to the dyed blonde pixie cuts of 2000s Victoria.

It is, they don't normally go for celebs. And it's equally impressive that they used one of their own photographers for the cover. Victoria must be very easy to work with. Normally celebrities are known to demand Testino or whatnot for a covershoot. She just goes with the flow, whether it's Jan Welters of Boo George.

And yes, the 'Magazine of the Year' tagline is rather laughable. Actually says a lot about what the Dutch (sans Anlabe & Mikel) consider good! I've flipped through this edition countless times, it's so dull, I'm sorry.

I've spoken to another member about this as well, I feel it's not necessary for her to do all these Vogue covers (to date only a handful of countries have yet to cover her). As a marketing tactic it makes sense, and it's even masterful how all these editions cloak the plugging of her clothing with family stories. But it's becoming too much now. Let the clothes speak for itself. Very soon consumers won't be able to separate the aesthetic from the celebrity, and that's never a good approach to sell fashion. Because God forbid she falls out of favour with the public, then her clothing line will be done for.

Agree. This strong pink is too much. It was not the right choice. But the rest is really cool.
Vogue Portugal and Vogue NL are improving month after month.

Just saw some photos of Victoria inside the magazine on Dutch TV
Looked great
There's a stunning headshot of Victoria in the water

I think that she really is! Not sure why but I love her. She comes off as very genuine to me and I just love the Brits. Fantastic cover, I love the colours.

I'm Dutch as well :lol: But I totally agree with you and the sad thing is, most Dutch magazines are crap. So I'm not even that surprised. For example, the famous British gay magazine recently launched over here. The UK edition is actually a very good, informative magazine but the Dutch one is soo bad. It honestly makes me cringe.
