Vogue Netherlands November 2019 : Bella Hadid by Sean Thomas

Always here for Miss Bella, but this cover is hideous and easily her worst ever (which certainly isn't her fault, that smile is beautiful, but everything from lighting to composition to layout is off).

Looks like the fashion representation of a gushing period in front of a grand master of art.

Love Bella as always -beautiful smile, btw- but what a waste of her.

I bet they wanted to create something original and iconic.. But this is an eyesore! That pose on a cover makes no sense and with that dress.. It looks like she's on that time of the month to me  seriously I wonder how they could choose this as a cover

Looks like Juergen Teller but not bold enough to be Teller

I like that she's smiling and it looks like a actual smile. Nice change from the frozen face we usually get with Bella.
It's an awkward cover, though. Better as a supplement than the main title.
Why does the fashion always seem an afterthought with 'Vogue' titles anymore?

I don't think it works as a cover at all. It's like they were going for Victoria Beckham by Juergen Teller but ended up with.. this.

I like it... at least she is not making this dead frozen face as usual... it's very simple but has a flair of fun and ease... anyway, as a person from Brexitland I welcome anything with a smile on it... apart from BoJo… Oh dear, I am clearly traumatised :-D

There's something interesting about it. I'm intrigued. It's different and you can tell.

So where's the promised Chanel special!?!

Either way, I loathe the cover. I find this brand of photography really awful and it's made worse with that composition. To top it all off...the 'Dutch Design Issue', oh, the irony. They're hands down the country with the worst covers across the board - from Glamour to Elle to Vogue. This new EIC spoke so profoundly of her love for 80s/9s Vogue covers, yet only the third issue in and it seems Karin Swerink never really left.

Did Valentino pay for this or did half the wardrobe get lost on the way to the shooting location? Cuz together with the cover there are four shots of that same Valentino look...

And three more of the yellow Valentino one! It's insane.
