Vogue Netherlands 'The Book' Winter 2016 : Cindy Crawford & Kaia Gerber by Sam Jones

In case anyone was wondering, Kaia is Cindy Crawford's daughter.

Fitting for the theme, but what's the rush with getting Kaia covers and contracts? There's no harm in waiting until the child turns 16.

All I see on the cover is on the left coverlines where they talk about the supermodels. Is it a new editorial or just an article with past photos of their early glory?

Agreed! Cindy contradicts herself, in 2012 she said she'd wait until Kaia is of age before modelling. Now she's everywhere. And it probably helps that Cindy herself managed to get some gigs off Kaia herself (let's be honest, without Kaia she'd never have gotten VP earlier this year).

The shot is beautiful, but the concept is played out.

^I agree, the concept is so cliché atm. For sure they are a handsome couple but they bring nothing new to the table, especially with this concept. It feels too much like nurturing, I miss the breastfeeding here. ;)

^lmao I'm just so tired of seing Kaia with her mom, like we got it, she's Cindy's daughter

Let's be real: what else does she have to cement her covers? The girl looks like a thousand others. She is living off her mother's name. At least Kristen's daughter is something different.

And I'm still waiting to see if Christy Turlington's daughter will try fashion. The girl looked like an angel last time I saw her.

In case anyone was wondering, that was sarcasm.

Lol I thought you were serious

Same here, I'm already tired of seeing her getting campaigns and covers. God, she's only 14, can't she just finished school first?! It's not like she would not be able to get those jobs later anyway.

I hope Vogue NL managed to get some exclusive/new pictures for "Super Sisters"...

I'm all for Kaia following Cindy's footsteps. It's obvious she's going to be a gorgeous splitting image of her mom and I don't really think there's any model out there with that midwestern all American look right now but it's way too soon. It's like Brooke shields in pretty baby right now. You know she's beautiful but you're hyper aware you're looking at a child. She does not convey looking "older" she very much looks her age.

I think you hit the nail on the head!
It's all about Cindy. She couldn't wait to be back in Vogue, even if that means using her child.
Waiting for two years for Kaia to grow up, also means Cindy will be two years older, and what fun is that.

I´ disappointed that the tag says "sisters" and yet we got Cindy with Kaia on the cover, I wish it was Cindy and at least another Supermodel...

On a side note talking about daughters, I so wish to see Kirsty Hume & Ines Rivero´s daughters starting in the business, they look so much like their moms :pink:

Kristy posed with her daughter Violet for Malibu Magazine a few months back. She is absolutely mesmerizing. I don't know her exact age but she is already quite tall for someone that's not even a teenager. And she looks like an angel, just like her mother. ^_^
