I am not sure who actually put this together. So I ended up choosing Carine, seeing she is the person in charge.

Also I scanned the image, and ended up using Vogue as the source. Hopefully that is alright.

^ Yes, they're really expensive. That's why I always look but never buy, no matter how neat it'd be to own an issue.

Yes, they are so so expensive...I've had the urge to buy one of these issues in the past but the pricetag called my sanity to keep my wallet away from this. Here in Holland, I believe the price goes up to 50 euros...ridiculous.

Remember when they used to give away a smaller version with Vogue Paris itself... considering this publication must use the same images that every other half-decent catwalk supplement does, I don't really see the justification in the high price. Even if it goes into detail and depth, you can get all that from the internet for free, as a supplement to the clutch of catwalk supplements all the other magazines give away in February and March.

30 euros? wow! thats expensive.
at least we get a smiliar sort of item with VOGUE UK,

I think they still do the little supplement...

honestly i've never look at those big "cahiers des défilés"....
but L'Officiel is doing exactly the same "cahiers des défilés" for AGES....
I used to buy them when I was a kid with lot of pocket-money to spend on this.....
L'Officiel is also doing those catalogues for men and couture collections....
it was like 100-150frs... so only 15€ (maybe a little more)....:innocent:
maybe you should compare in your country if you're still interested in those "cahiers" (i know sometimes they are usefull for fashion design students)...

by the way, L'Officiel did the same concept of catalogues with ALL Dior shows from M. Christian Dior shows to now with Galliano....
just something i'm saying like that......it costs 18€, i think...
(just checked on their website and it's now JPG... so I don't know if JPG was the first one/Christian Dior the one on newstands now... and vice-versa)

i have every issue of this mag, mainly because it's an invaluable resource for runway shows and accessories for the season...
to me, it's worth it imo, rather than printing things out and pulling it from various sources...

the thing i don't like about the l'officiel versions is they have one book for clothes and another for accessories...
this one has trends up front, then runway shows (by city), then accessories...
plus they have accessories and shows that other mags miss...
i think it's about $30-$35 in the states...

Its about 40 Euros in my country,so ya pretty expensive, but i have to say i just have to have them  of course i do sometimes feel guilty of spending that much on it,but in the end its worth the money i think. And hey,i could be a smoker and blow my money on more unhealthy habit.(thats how i appease myself anyhow  ). :shifty:^_^

Hear hear, but it's too expensive for my taste.

Apparently this magazine is INCREDIBLE.

Is it really worth the price?

^Its worth the price if you want runway pictures from every show / a preview of the best accessories for that season. If you don't really want those then I would say that its really not worth it. I have a couple issues and I personally loved them as it was a good way of bookmarking what I really loved about each collection - and it was a bit easier than wading through all the online pictures / snippets from various publications. This is just every show, every look and it can be invaluable if thats what you're looking for. I regret not having this magazine for last season. I'm going to try and track it down. I figure the $30 isn't so bad as it covers a lot of ground and isn't a monthly purchase - still expensive but better than a lot of the other collections magazines.

Quite excited to see which accessories they pick this time around!

I can post some pages if you like, or if that is even allowed.

I happened to see this and L'Officiel at a Bookstore, and I would definately go with L'Officiel...it was cheaper and it had everysingle look from all the designers vs. Vogue which only selected only a few looks per designer and was more expensive.:flower:
