Vogue Paris February 2012 : Daria Werbowy by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

Rough translation: 5 covers, 20 "fashion subjects" (editorials?). 70 pages this month. 8 years of crazy love between Vogue Paris and Daria Werbowy ... this time it is far from the "podiums," the glitter, and the world of fashion that the muse (a little wild) of Lancôme finds her equilibrium. Instead [she is] in communion with the "shamans," in the middle of the ocean, or cut off from the world, in her new home in Ireland. A beautiful soul in a pure state.

this will be her 6th cover for vogue paris! can't wait for the ed!

I WISH they had used the beautiful purple from the 'Special' and 'Jacobs' for the title.

Agree, the neon pink looks too aggressive for my taste, but well, maybe it'll be different IRL.

It's a lovely cover nonetheless, actually one of the best I've seen from Emmanuelle. Daria & Prada is such a good combo here.

I actually like the retroness of the pink, I love the cover, the prada swimsuit, th colors and Daria I love VP ATM:)

I give the cover itself a thumbs up - Daria's body looks amazing in the Prada swimsuit, but the cover does not have the power and the punch that I would expect for a model of Daria's stature to deliver, this would be a more impressive cover if the model was Daria Stroukus but as a Daria Werbowy cover of French Vogue, it is a bit of a let down.

Also for some reason the text, not the graphics as much as the substance, seems a bit pedestrian. I am not fluent in French and if I can figure out what the issue is going to be about without going through a mental translation step, then it is too pedestrian.

I`m really excited for everything! The 2 editorial previews are really beautiful! Although, I don`t like the effect VP Uses with their editorials being just a portion of the pages. I miss the whole page editorials

They still have whole page editorials...

That Prada swimsuit is horrific. I love Daria, but the styling is simply not working for me.

This cover is different but nice. Daria rocks that horrible swimsuit. The hairstyle isn't bad. But for some reason, this looks a little like Vogue Russia to me.

Here is a dodgy photoshop (the image isnt HQ Enough to get it crisp) but it just looks sop much better, more elegant.

they should have at least used the purple on the VOGUE title. :flower:

I couldn't be more happier to see Daria on the cover of Vogue Paris again! And a whole 70-page long editorial!:woot:

Can't wait to get this issue! It's interesting again she's wearing Prada on the cover as she did two years ago.

Hmmm, any of the previews don't catch my eyes yet, but I can't judge the whole 70 page ed from those few pics. Can't wait to see the full ed.

I love Daria but I think I would totally love this cover if it wasn't for the font colours.

For a Daria themed issue, they could have done more with the cover. I even like the two preview pics we saw more, though I can see why they would pick that as a sellable cover.

I am waiting for the contents, the cover is disappointing.

I'm confused... the 70 page editorial isn't just Daria, right?
