Vogue Paris May 2018 : Anna Ewers by Mikael Jansson

This feels like the good old VP, for me. Love, almost, everything, they could have used less bronze on her though!! C. Otis she is NOT!

Wow, that's really striking. But I agree that Anna should look more fresh faced, they went overboard with the makeup.

I actually thought it was Carré Otis !!! I like this cover of Vogue Paris for once!

I like everything about this cover, hopefully the editorial is as good :)

My immediate reaction was to be happy this isn't the June-July issue, so I won't have to see that sunburned-looking face for two months.

I'm not seeing the same magic in the shot as everyone else is, but whatever Vogue Paris produces is usually superior to most other magazines, so it won't be putting me off.

It's very VP - heavy and depressing.

p.s. Third cover in a row where model isn't giving an eye-contact.

The 80’s go to the beach. I can’t say I love this cover but it’s not bad either. Is it just me though or does it feel like Anna’s moment has passed? I really though that she was gonna be the first legit super since Gisele but it seemed to have gone nowhere. Now I don’t even see her getting to Daria level.

it's always a pleasure to see Anna being on the cover of VP. Not as good as her last one in the August issue but I still like it a lot more than the past few issues.

I actually really like this! Love the colors. Love the mood. The styling is too ordinary, but it matches the story they're trying to project. I'm down with this. Quintessential VP.

This will look even better in real life. A must buy for me.

And I'm really starting to like the art direction.

However, is she not looking directly to the camera? Are we seeing the same cover?

So the space above her head doesn't bother anyone else? And the fact that they should've zoomed this out (you either show a clear scope of location or you don't.)

It's not a bad cover. I'm also glad it's not for June/July! The denim jacket looks very heavy (figuratively and literally), but I understand why Anna Ewers is their constant. Read - their most consistent best selling model.

Hard to see anything beyond this OTT bronze face... the problem with the current VP is their styling... I like the 70s and 80s vibes but not all the time... it’s just comes across as lazy at this point and totally uninspiring...

Very happy for Anna and Jansson, she is a little too bronzed though. And that font has to go, it's awful.

Not sure that is ALL bronze though. Looking at the jacket I think someone went a bit overboard with post production. The colours are off.

Anna delivers as always but the photography here is indeed off to me. I agree in both the zoomed out and "heaviness" cited before. I hate letters over the forehead.

It's a great cover, though I thought this issue we would finally get Imaan Hammam's Vogue Paris cover.

The jacket looks very heavy indeed but it's a great cover. Happy to see Anna Ewers. The hair looks good on her. I like it a lot!

I do like the cover....but , there some old vogue paris magic i wish could appears on Alt's covers but no. ( sorry for my english )

Solid cover. Hard to find much fault with it. Yet, it fails to excite me. Idk. Still, I'll take it over most covers these days.

Miss Ewers serving some major look I really love this cover , she kind of VP cover that speaks to me , a true VP girl Congrats
