Vogue Paris November 2009 : Isabeli Fontana by David Sims

Raquel didn't get the cover no indeed to b*tch and moan for 6 pages! congrats to Isabel but the cover is crap.-_-

what is weird is that the rumour of a blonde girl being shot by Sorrenti for the November cover came from a picture from last month's supplement... I wonder what happened... Maybe they meant December and the blonde was Laetitia Casta?

When I read Isabeli by Sims I thought it was going to be a B&W picture... The result is really bad. Too experimental, in a bad way. It's good for her though.

That could be a possibility.

Last time I saw images of Laetita's dye job, she was a rancid blonde, which was certainly not a patch on her luscious brunette colouring, so I'm going to put that out of my mind and appreciate November's offerings first, before imagining a nightmare.

^ I'm only bringing up her name because she's rumored to be the guest editor for the Dec/Jan issue!

^ yes yes yes, let it be Laetitia!! vie héroïque is coming out on January 20. :buzz:

*calms down*

I actually quite like this cover. It's fun, and although I agree that it's not very VP, to be honest recently whenever Carine does do her signature thing recently it's a little boring. Alot of people complain when we see typical cover subjects (Lara, Daria) with typical themes (sex basically) so it's quite refreshing to see something new. And it still has that token VP sense of humour and irreverence, so I'm perfectly happy.

That said, I too would've liked to have seen Raquel. I can only hope that they're saving her up for something big. A December/January guest editor position is probably wishful thinking, seeing as they seem to prefer people that the public would be more aware of, but one can dream...

Thankss Diorette for the review nothinf exating i think continue no work of Testino in Vogue FR

the body art on isabeli reminds me of the rodarte tribal-chic bodypaint:

Keith Haring's your man for that sort of thing, I always liked the way he made sure he painted everywhere (peet.files.wordpress.com):

I'm really not sure and I'm really really bad at IDing models but I think the girl in Graffi-Couture might be Raquel.

Thanks for the review Diorette ^_^! It sounds very promising! I can't wait to see Isabeli's edit and the Graffi-couture edit. Both sound very interesting.

Also, I am very excited that Iris Apfel is in the "Une Fille, Une Style" section. She has such a fun, quirky personal style and it's about time she made is profiled, as she is perfect for the section! It is nice to see someone older than the usual woman they feature ^_^!

I believe it could be her considering we got rumours she would have an editorial by Sorrenti in this issue. Thank you for the review :flower:

I never thought I would be dissapointed with a VP cover for Isabeli, but I am. :( I really thought Raquel would finally get one! just one! One can only hope.

I´m really happy for Isabeli but the cover is really saturated and I don´t hate the font, but it bothers me that it´s all over the place.

Anja by Tyen!
I'm not sure about the cover yet.

I can't say the cover is a blissful beauty experience....but I do love the irony. EXTREME, TOO MUCH and even "Injections too much" - what the h*** does that mean
