Pretty solid issue. Both shoots with her are straightup pretty— nothing unique nor outstanding, but effortlessly pretty and sweet nevertheless. Why they decided to go with a reshoot with the white seamless seems to be a case of needing to showcase the Valentino dress to appease their client.
They’re a far far far cry from what they once were a decade ago, but the clean and sleek AD from page to page really saves this Vogue that’s been dragging so many others down. And they seem to be claiming back their very distinct Russian identity the way that Vogue Mexico has, with the best story/feature in this issue being Nikolay Biryukov’s "Вертикаль СТРАСТИ”: wish this had been a full fashions story.
