Wow! I love it so much, Mullet and all.
It's Eighties to the max; colors, outfit, makeup and hair - but still manages to avoid looking like a costume. I also love the composition - how the dress fills out the space of the image. Eighties done right. Good job!

Between this cover and the last one, it's like Vogue Russia's "dark period". I suppose it's only seasonal. No light allowed on the cover unless you can also see it looking out of your own window.

Now this is gorgeous! It gas the right amount of attitude and energy. It also doesnt fall as outright pretentious.

At face value its bold and impactful in a way that it will command your attention on the newsstand. Plus their understated styling approach the 80s (Emmanuelle Alt©) is refreshing. My only gripe is Grace Hartzel and this perpetual demure little shrinking violet schtick she's got going. This set up would've been better utilised with a direct and confident stare, hands on the hips and all. That's what the 80s was about anyway. Unabashed brashness.

No light allowed on the cover unless you can also see it looking out of your own window.

LMAO!

Presumably the reference was David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust era. That's what I got from it at least, and it is timely with his birthday/anniversary of his death...seems a bit random for VR though.

It's an OK cover from Vogue Russia but I'm not exactly overjoyed at the sight of Grace Hartzel. I mean everything works on the cover, don't get me wrong, and Demarchelier's done a good job here but it's just... meh! At the very least this is a thousand times better than Jean Campbell last month.

It looks like a sequel to their fabulous January 2014 cover with Sasha Luss. Only this time they didn't amazed me as much.

I quite like this! She pulls off the David Bowie circa 80's vibe SO well, and her bright blue eyes on the cover perfectly complement the other colors
