Vogue Turkey June 2013 : Karlie Kloss

Get rid of the tacky blue font, and half of the text. Then you've got a pretty decent Vogue cover.

my edit

Removing the blue hue all over would make it better as well, but idc to take the time.

Karlie is so incredibly insufferable. I absolutely detest that the industry continues to try to turn her into some beacon of womanly sex appeal when she still has the face of a 16 year old and not a lick of curves to be seen (at least any that haven't been digitally created).

Body shaming is not okay. A woman doesn't have to have "curves" to be sexy. I hate this idea of what's supposed to be sexy and whenever a woman doesn't live up to that standard, people are like stop trying to make her look sexy.

^^My intention is not to body shame at all. Apologizes if that is the way it read. I have no issue with Karlie's body, as it really is not much different from most models I do really like.

My problem is that photographers and stylists continue to try to make her body appear to be something that it really isn't. Sure - some might consider Karlie sexy (certainly not me (and it's not because of her body, it's her face and personality)), but why are we always photoshopping larger breasts on her, padding her up with a push up bra, etc. etc. when you could instead hire a model who naturally has those assets to begin with.

Eye of the beholder indeed Nepenthes!! I think Karlie realizes she is no Isabeli or Adriana, but to me is what makes her sexy is her confidence. Yes Karlie is on the thin side, far from voluptuous, but the look in her eyes..... I love actually this cover. It's not overly sexualized as some are making it out to be. (Or maybe just because it is Karlie here, people are trying to make it seem like its too sexy for her.)

I like Karlie, but I think this is her the worst cover in this year. Bad outfit and hair. this is looks cheap. :(

Karlie is the queen of the boring, flat model wave going on right now...i feel like in ten years time people are going to look back and say "how did she happen?!" she has like four facial expressions. That she uses over and over. I find that much more annoying then her always obviously photoshopped body.

not loving the styling here although I usually think Katie Mossman's perspective is very fresh. Karlie looks Alright.

The look in her eyes? You mean that textbook Tyra Banks/ANTM smizing? If those are her come hither eyes, I doubt she's got anyone hithering. :innocent:

^ Well at the end of the day its a matter of opinion, i think the look in her eyes is alluring, and sexy, a great cover stare.

I'm bothered by the same... except I think Karlie's a great model, I say drop the amount of powder to draw more volume, drop the photoshop, drop the idea that someone is then more suitable and just embrace her body type as it is. Anyway it's also related to the way they decided to suddenly market her, which is bomshell, which is such a limited category to be in because the entire idea behind hinting or being blatant at being some kind of sex bomb is uhh sex, and that's got a historic line of cartoon ideals that consumers subscribe to... bah it's such a complicated topic, but I do think people are a bit hard in regards of Karlie's flat chest and I also think it's ridiculous how they want to produce someone that she simply isn't, like male consumers is all that matters.. silly.
