Vogue Turkey June 2013 : Karlie Kloss

Don't care for the styling here and I really wish Karlie would grow her hair out. This short look does nothing for her, IMO.

^^My intention is not to body shame at all. Apologizes if that is the way it read. I have no issue with Karlie's body, as it really is not much different from most models I do really like.

My problem is that photographers and stylists continue to try to make her body appear to be something that it really isn't. Sure - some might consider Karlie sexy (certainly not me (and it's not because of her body, it's her face and personality)), but why are we always photoshopping larger breasts on her, padding her up with a push up bra, etc. etc. when you could instead hire a model who naturally has those assets to begin with.
You're not really making sense. Since when are push up bras forbidden for skinny women? Why is it be bad when a small breasted woman chooses to wear a push up bra or whatever? The only part that photographers tend to accentuate are her breasts especially for VS, but they do the same to every model. Plus, when you hire a model you don't only look at their "assets"(it's not like a woman with small breasts lacks in anything). You look at their status in the business, their personality and their skills. Her body doesn't look any different on this cover than it does in candids etc.

Other than that, I don't really understand how her own body is a field for discussion or comments of any sort.

Well, ultimately I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I suppose all my comments are being misunderstood by you as criticizing the specifics of her body, when in reality I'm criticizing the industry for trying to, as MulletProof so eloquently put it, turn her into a sex pot, when I really find her terribly sex-less. It's not about her lack of "curves," it's really the fact that she still looks 16 and awkward in her body. What's sexy about that?

I'm not saying there is something wrong with a push up bra. That's silly. I just think she's always being turned into something she's not and that's what I find grating about her and her career. It's like how she's always pouting her upper lip, when SHE HAS A THIN UPPER LIP. Why can't she just be photographed naturally. Instead, she always looks so POSED because she and everyone involved are always forcing sex-pot on her and it's all the cliches of sex appeal, too. It's a young girl playing sexy like the movies and there's really nothing I get from her that reads true sex appeal that comes from maturity and experience.

^You did mention her lack of curves as something that makes her unappealing sexually though.

I guess it really depends on how you look at it because Karlie doesn't look 16 or awkward to me at all. She's turning 21 this August and looks incredibly mature. But, yeah, I guess it's a subjective matter so everyone will have their own opinion.

Karlie is a true beauty; and yes, she might not be everybody's cup of tea but I think that if vogue turkey wanted to have a Karlie cover that they shouldn't have overly photoshopped her.

before i upload the content, let me say, first of all, beauty/sexiness always is and always will be in the eye of the beholder, but imo Karlie has it all.
i don't think her sexiness comes mainly from her body, wich somtimes can look awkwardly strange in photographs , it comes from the "whole package" her personality, her confidence & her skills.
i mean she really blows me away, everytime she owns the runway

for my taste, this cover is not that sexy or tryin' to sell it & i don't mind the phhotoshop, we've seen it way worser on her

Thanks a lot for posting the editorials Mat_Cyruss, they're beautiful.

I must say I never saw Karlie as someone who has sex appeal, but I like her.
Anyway, back to the mag - I expected to see a bigger Karlie spread.
That Vogue Men cover/ed is hideous, it was better last year. I never got this man's appeal, especially that people are crazy about him here.

Karlie can give us a lot of different look, and yes I surely think she can be sexy. It can be strange for some people because she is different from the usual sexy girl (blond, tanned with big breasts) but there's something so special about her that she can be sexy without being tacky
