Vogue Ukraine Summer 2023 : Pasha Harulia & Sasha Vodniy by Patrick Bienert

I don’t know why the first issue wasn’t available on CNWWN :smilingwtear:

it’s just ok.
one would expect something stronger fashion for someone’s first Vogue issue as an EIC.

Gorgeous cover, and I love the stark colours! It would be nice to see a proper return to Vogue Ukraine when it was cool.

Whatever. This edition could as well just not exist. Even before the war they had nothing interesting to offer but same can be said about most European vogues.

Looks interesting but more like a Marc Jacobs fragrance ad than a mag cover.

I can not agree with you. At a time when most of the BIG Vogues are constantly repeating themselves, European editions such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, Portugal are still creating their own original content with low budgets and limited possibilities. Of course, we can complain about many things, but it's still original content, creativity.

That's why I said most. I actually bought many issues of vogue CS and find their recent change of direction quite sad.
I do appreciate when magazines create original content but that fact alone won't help if their efforts result in something mediocre or uninteresting.
That's my issue with Vogue Poland. I would rather see them create hideous, vulgar eds which would arouse emotions or curiosity rather than just churning out these inoffensive issues that are neither bad or good.
Yes, the budgets might be low, possibilities limited but it's not really an issue when there is actual creativity happening and I am not sure if that's the case here.
