The cover rumor thread said there was a Vogue cover coming. Seems it's this one, but it was wrong about the title (unless it was rejected and W got it).

It’s a good story nevertheless. Meisel treatment with portraits and Avedon references.

I wish Carlyne did the styling for more celebrities with Meisel. It would infuse more personality other than « Meisel treatment »

I am curious which cover do you prefer of Del Rey by Meisel. The W cover or Vogue Italia? I liked the smiling Del Rey on Vogue Italia but I think this one is more superior.

Honestly? I'm torn. The smile on the Vogue Italia cover completely sold me but I like how poised this particular cover image is here for W. Perhaps I'd have to say the Italian Vogue cover because it was everything I love from Meisel - a closeup portrait, a smile, and a headscarf.

Yes, I loved the headscarf on Del Rey because it totally reminded me of Meisel. I also loved the black styling with the black masthead. Both of the covers are special in their own way.

Very much so. I immediately knew I had to have the Italian Vogue with Lana but I very much doubt I will end up with a copy of this (purely for the fact that I don’t own much W Magazine).

However, who knows. We might be about to see some fantastic content from this issue (and maybe even more covers). I do feel more excitement over this than I have with the vast majority of Vogue editions this month.

I really enjoy Sara Moonves' W magazine. There is usually something that I like. If not the cover story then a fashion editorial or two and vice versa. I also always find something that interests me to read. Even if I don't end up liking the fashion editorials this month, I will still get this issue for the Del Rey cover because I just love how she is styled and the colors.
