W Magazine Volume #6 2024 : Nicole Kidman by Nick Brinley

Really good. It’s an out there choice for a fashion magazine but it’s a good set of images, you really feel like it’s an actress collaborating on a project, emoting with her whole body and seducing the camera rather than just being a dress up doll for the day.
this is the kind of cover that I think would actually require the skills of an actress, even from a model. And not every actress has it, this isn't a case where being tall+blonde is enough.

Nicole on the cover of W again....zzzz
This one might have slapped tho, if she shared it with Harris Dickenson, doing something Baby Girl related.

Even an indie band from NYC could capture Robert Longo's essence better than this does...

She is stiff and so she looks stiff.
It would have been great to have a singer/performer or a natural dancer as an actress have a take on this.

It's Nicole's Month, 3 covers in one week Vanity Fair, GQ and W.... I really hope she gets her 6th nomination and finally her second Oscar (even though I'm also rooting for Tilda Swinton)

I love Nicole, but... this feels like they had three poses and said okay, let's try it in a suit...ok, now let's try them in a dress...ok, now in a shirt and blouse. And then decided to just throw them all in. They're the same pictures!
The one with her laying on the ground would have been much better had they not set cardboard down for her to lay on. If you're going with rough urban rooftop, go all the way with it.
I do like it, but it's low effort.

I would love to see a professional ballerina do this project.
This gives very "office worker on her smoke break has a mental snap". I mean, I love it for what it is, but you're right.

she looks gorgeous, but this ed is a bit flat

Maybe something good is in the works for future issues of W, because these stories do not excite at all.

At least they re-did this idea with Robert Longo himself. But oh boy, still so overused and at this point Nicole cant make it interesting either.

PS
Cant believe they are still tolerating Sara Moonves at the W Magazine. Guess her daddy bought it for her at the right moment - right before he got cancelled for all the sex abuse.
The world we live in… oh boy oh boy
