The masthead on the men's covers are upside down...why? None of these three images appeal to me, and it's mainly the deadpan expressions. It perfectly captures Tonchi's W - bland and boring.

I get Kit and Kanye for the Royals theme, but why Priyanka? She's had one tv show which, in all fairness, wasn't exactly a cultural force. I dont think her extensive Bollywood career should be factored in here...
Looking forward to Jodie and Hballe's covers!

Oh WOW! Some interesting faces on these covers! Collectively, they're all intriguing enough for me to purchase without seeing the content, although there is no way I'm going to buy them all. Admittedly, I'm enamored with Irina Shayk's cover. She is serving up some serious face and pose here!

Priyanka Chopra has the best cover imo. Stunning woman. and that stare just captivates. This will surely stand out in the newsstands. Jodie Foster's comes second. I am in love with the attitude she's giving.

I also kinda like the new font and the logo. It has this authoritative yet very feminine touch. I hope they stick with this logo from here on. Last month's was a disaster.

However, I like the concept of a men's and women's issue.. but why change the logo and make it look like an M? It seriously went away with the concept of the issue - which was to embrace both men's and women's fashion. They should've used W for the male covers. Changing W to M made it seem like a supplement or a different magazine all together. It would have been wonderful to see a W cover with a man on the cover and with that headline. People who do not follow the magazine might think this is a new magazine.

Best cover imagery from them in a long while. Jodie, Chris Evans and Halle have it for me, but I'm thrilled to see Julia land a cover! Priyanka is beautiful.

I wonder whether these are double-sided magazines, where you turn it around (and upside-down) to start reading the other half of the issue from the back cover, hence the W and the M, not just because it represents men, but also because of the flip-side aspect?

I think that's the case here. They also did it way back in April 2002. Lauren Bush was on the front cover, Hugh Grant was on the back cover and the issue was split into women's and men's fashion.

The hell, why didn't Chiwetel get a cover? His picture is miles better than the other guys.

Pretty unexciting covers overall, not necessary bad but none really stands out for me.
